Offset it up. If it doesn't kick to the primary dashboard menu screen with 20 seconds, information technology'south running off an HDD. SSD's start upwards your PC/hardware way quicker than HDD.
Microsoft does not industry SSHD Xbox One consoles. What you lot are seeing is 3rd party companies doing this. And according to Microsoft, anyone including tertiary party companies, who modify an Xbox 1 console without authorization from Microsoft, is confronting the Terms of Service. You run the risk of an Business relationship ban as well. Microsoft is strict and implements various security methods to screen out modified unauthorized consoles from connecting to the XBL service. Non to mention information technology won't take a standing warranty supported by Microsoft.
Why non get an Xbox One X? It has better specs than the PS4 Pro, and it tin boot up to the principal bill of fare screen in only 40 seconds. Information technology's also smaller than the Xbox One S. Xbox Ane consoles come with like 8GB or then of flash drive which has similar benefits of an SSD.
My loftier end custom desktop PC has a 1TB Samsung SSD for main storage which is backed by a Samsung v year manufacturer warranty, as well equally a secondary 240GB Kingston Hyper FuryX SSD which is backed by a Kingston 10 year manufacturer warranty. These SSD's can kick up a PC in five seconds compared with 5400RPM and 7200RPM HDD's which take ii-4 minutes to boot up and load everything on the desktop.
Some other fashion to place is to physically open up up the console yourself.
The Aristocracy controller has received a lot of complaints regarding it'southward durability, only lasting 2 months on average before the rubber grips come off the toggle sticks or the toggle sticks lose their accuracy. The normal wireless controllers don't seem to have this problem and tend to terminal longer and are half the price of an aristocracy controller.

Thanks for the respond, from the length you lot took a flake of fourth dimension with it. However it in no fashion actually addresses my question in how to positively identify an Xbox I Aristocracy console with the 1TB SSHD. Yes, the start upwards boot fourth dimension should be reduced, but that as a method doesn't provide a level of certainty. Methods such as matching the model number on the back, serial number verification or opening it upwards to really eyeball the internal hard drive would.
You are incorrect Microsoft did produce the Xbox One Elite consoles with the 1TB SSHD. They are not a modified console or aftermarket 3rd part company product. They were produced during the original Xbox 1 period, prior to the Xbox One S period, but subsequently the Aristocracy Controller was released and the Kinect was no longer being included with new consoles. I'll let you lot Google search it yourself, but hither's a few links to get you started.
Googled it and plant this on amazons website I know exactly what you are talking about the xbox one elite they had out information technology was with a hybrid ane TB SSD
How exactly to make up one's mind if the console without signing into your account on the console and then going to account.alive.com and going to devices and seeing what it says at that place I really dont know the answer to that.

How exactly to determine if the console without signing into your account on the console and and then going to account.live.com and going to devices and seeing what it says there I really dont know the reply to that.
Tried that and doesn't seem to provide any details on the console.
Information technology distinguishes betwixt an Xbox One and Xbox I S, but no mention of Elite of difficult bulldoze capacities. (the S is a 2TB and the 1 should exist an Aristocracy).
The model number code (1540) on the consoles sticker is the same every bit every other Xbox One which is what makes me suspicious. I cannot however find any details on what the Elite model code should be - perhaps its the same just with a different hard bulldoze internally?
I thought perhaps I would bulletin a few sellers on Gumtree and eBay and ask for them to confirm the model number of the Elite consoles that they are selling?

Thank you, I'll come across how I go with contacting support and if they can verify.
I messaged a few sellers on eBay and Gumtree that listed XB1 Elite 1TB consoles and they all advised the Model of the console was 1540 the same as what I have here. Also the aforementioned every bit a standard non-SSHD console.
Honestly I retrieve the only matter different really between them was the 1 TB Hybrid HDD
I'm sure that that is the just difference with the console. I'm only wanting to double check if I got what I actually purchased. I simply recently purchased this Xbox One Aristocracy from EB Games, as a used console (complete with the Elite controller), to replace my Xbox Ane S 2TB. The reason existence that I purchased a Kinect unit with the intention of using and then institute out that the XB1 S 2TB doesn't have the Kinect connection. I tried finding an adapter just the just options were third party knock off units which were more expensive that Microsoft used to sell the genuine particular, or if I found a genuine 1 information technology was priced at almost the same toll as I paid for this Elite panel! In one case the Seagate Game Drive arrives I volition move my content over from the XB1 S 2TB onto the XB1 Elite 1TB and and then sell that off.

i believe in that location might be two possible certain ways to notice out from looking at it externally. One of which I call up is a sure bet.
Something I've noticed on the bottom sticker of elite models, is the 'IC' logo is not present? The elite model I take was manufactured after the standard 1tb model I have here, so it's a case of information technology having been removed. It may be the case that subsequently released standard 1tb models also do not take this logo? I am unable to verify this.
Second fashion which I suspect will certainly tell you lot. Smoothen a calorie-free (though a well lit room may be acceptable) in the rear vent on the left of the panel and you can easily come across the hard drive. What you want to look for is the big protruding nuts that sit down on the roof of the difficult drive which are hands seen. These are present on the SSD and not on standard xbox 1 1tb hard drives.
Something else to mention incase it hasn't, is that the 500gb models have pianoforte glossy plastic tops where'southward 1tb models, that includes the elite take matt black textured plastic on the top, and so you can certainly eliminate any take chances of the console not being at the very least a 1tb model immediately on inspection. I'm confident the second mention of the hard bulldoze nuts will tell you with certainty. Hither's a link of a youtube video showing the within of an elite then you can run across these basics on the top of the hard drive in the corners which are easily visible from looking in the rear vent of an xbox.
